On Monday 23 May 2016 in the early hours of the morning; at around 01:30; Barrie Police were alerted by a member of the public to a Grey Chevy Malibu apparently swerving all over the road.
Police located both the witness and that vehicle.
After speaking with the 25-year-old driver attending officers arrested him for driving whilst impaired.
Once at the station the driver refused to provide a sample of his breath and as such was subsequently charged with both offences, later released to appear in court.
