The Canadian Pacific Railway (CP) Holiday Train will be rolling into Springwater Township at 12:15 p.m. today at Highway 26 and Anne Street North.
The CP Holiday Train collects food and money for the Elmvale and District Food Bank and the Barrie Food Bank, helping raise awareness in the fight against hunger.
The Holiday Train provides a box car stage, a line-up of musical talent and a corporate contribution to both local Food Banks.
The event is free to attend, however residents are encouraged to donate food items and funds, all of which will stay in the local community.
The musical guests this year are Emma-Lee and Colin James.
