A section of the North Shore Trail near downtown Barrie will be closed for a week due to maintenance.
From today until Sept. 4, the trail will be temporarily closed from the area near Mulcaster Street to Kempenfelt Park.
The former rail corridor provides visitors with direct views of the bay from a wide pathway and is well used by runners, walkers and cyclists.
