The City of Barrie says a section of St. Vincent Street will be closed into this evening as construction crews replace a sanitary sewer lateral.
To complete the work, Yorkton Contracting requires an emergency full road closure between Gunn Street and Wellington Street East until approximately 7 p.m., Thursday.
No through traffic will be allowed.
A detour route is in effect: St. Vincent Street – Wellington Street East – Duckworth Street – Grove Street East – St. Vincent Street.
