Brian Saunderson has a new job in addition to his role as Simcoe-Grey MPP.
Saunderson has been named a parliamentary assistant to Vic Fedeli, minister of economic development, job creation and trade (MEDJCT).
The former Collingwood mayor will work with Oakville North-Burlington MPP Effie Triantafilopoulos, who is also a parliamentary assistant to Fedeli.
Saunderson is also parliamentary assistant to Attorney General Doug Downey, who is the MPP for Barrie-Springwater-Oro-Medonte.
“It’s a privilege to support Minister Fedeli in this new role,” Saunderson said in a news release. “I look forward to working with the MEDJCT team to grow our economy and bring more good-paying jobs to Ontario, just like the historic Honda announcement made earlier this year in New Tecumseth.”
