St. Joan of Arc to host Power of Ideas tour

For the past year, Actua and the Perimeter Institute have been bringing cutting-edge science programming to communities across Canada with their Power of Ideas Tour. Next week, the travelling science exhibition will take over the halls of St. Joan of Arc Catholic High School in Barrie.

Designed in collaboration with the Ontario Science Centre, the Power of Ideas Tour allows students to discover the process of science through hands-on, mind-expanding exhibits in their very own school.

The tour also includes an engaging presentation, intended to inspire students about scientific breakthroughs and discoveries.

Students will enjoy The Power of Ideas Tour exhibit and presentation during their school day on May 10-11. The general public is invited to explore the exhibition in the evening of May 10.

When: Thursday, May 10 - Friday, May 11, 2018 (open to students during school hours)

           Thursday, May 10, 2018, 6 - 8 p.m. (open to the public)

Where: St. Joan of Arc Catholic High School, 460 Mapleton Avenue, Barrie
