The 2nd Annual Great Crate Escape to benefit Street Cats Animal Rescue was held Saturday and BarrieToday's Sue Sgambati had it locked up.

Or rather she was one of many volunteers who were locked in animal cages for the fun fundraiser outside the south end Walmart on Mapleview Drive.

The event was hosted by 93.1 Fresh Radio's Tara Dawn Winstone and Matt McLean.

Donations to the cat shelter can be made at streetcats.ca.
