The forecast is looking promising for some winter fun this Family Day weekend at Blue Mountain Resort. Blue will host a variety of fun activities including scavenger hunts, magic shows, fireworks and of course, the area’s best skiing and snowboarding.

“At Blue, we believe that skiing and snowboarding are truly family activities where everyone can participate together,” says Ashley Amis, Manager of Recreation Marketing at Blue Mountain Resort.

“Along with being on-hill, we have skating, tubing and even swimming to get families outside. It’s a weekend full of active adventure and entertainment. But one of the most memorable Family Day experiences has to be Sunrise Ski.”

The Silver Bullet and Century Express chairlifts will be loading skiers and riders at 6:30 a.m. on Monday morning to provide guests with a view of the sunrise over Southern Georgian Bay and first tracks on Blue’s groomed ski runs. Season Passes are valid for morning access, and lift tickets can be purchased from the ticket windows close to the open lifts or in advance online.
