TAY TOWNSHIP – Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating mischief at Oak Bay Golf Club in Georgian Bay Township.

Sometime overnight on May 3, 2016 two golf carts were hot-wired and driven around on the golf course property.

One golf cart was destroyed when it was driven into the water along the edge of the course.

A second golf cart was driven into a tree causing approximately $2,500 damage. The total damage is approximately $8,500.

Anyone with information as to who may be responsible for this crime is asked to contact Southern Georgian Bay OPP 705-526-3761 or the Orillia communications at 1-888-310-1122.
