Kayla is a local young woman who suffers from a chronic illness that has greatly affected her quality of life. Instead of letting her illness get her down, she has decided to give back and make the best out of her situation. To-date she has raised tens of thousands of dollars for children's initiatives close to her heart.
Kayla spends much of her time confined to her room, so her nominator thought the most meaningful surprise gift for Kayla would be a room makeover.
