Everyone, young and old, is invited to come out for a fun-filled day of Canada Day celebrations on Saturday, July 1, 2017. Innisfil residents will have the chance to enjoy Canada Day-themed entertainment, food, interactive activities and so much more.

“Canada’s 150th birthday is a one-time event and we are certainly going to make this a celebration to remember,” said Innisfil Mayor Gord Wauchope. “Whether you’re looking for a few games for the kids, amazing eats or some fireworks, there is something for all of us to enjoy.”

Connect with the community! Be there for the unveiling of the Canada 150 Mosaic Mural, a historical piece of community art. Local dancers from Miss Jennie’s Performing Arts Studio will sing the national anthem, kicking off the day. Innisfil Fire will be onsite allowing children to spray targets with their fire hoses. Innisfil ideaLAB and Library will be offering activities for children. There will be musical entertainment with the Fitzees, local artists and organizations, the Innisfil Beach Cruisers, and so much more.

The evening will kick off with opening remarks followed by cupcakes with council. The musical talent of The Carl Rundown Band will entertain you for the evening until dusk, followed by a fantastic 12-foot fire sculpture, along with fireworks for our grand finale.
