Weather advisory in effect for:
- Barrie - Collingwood - Hillsdale
Winter Weather Travel Advisory in effect for this afternoon and evening.
Bands of lake effect snow will effect portions of Central and Southwestern Ontario this afternoon into this evening.
Total snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 centimetres are expected today followed by another 2 to 5 centimetres this evening.
Poor winter driving conditions may occur due to lower visibilities in heavier snow.
Untreated roads may become snow covered and slippery.
These snowfall amounts do not reach the criterion for snow squall warnings.
The lake effect snow activity will diminish later tonight.
