Woman punched during robbery, police seek suspect

On Friday, Aug. 26, police were called to an address on Thickettwood Avenue in the City of Barrie after receiving reports that a woman had been robbed.

The victim had been punched in the hand and face by the suspect as a result of recording him on her cell phone. He had been driving his dirt bike dangerously and at a high rate of speed throughout the subdivision and a nearby trail. The suspect had been seen numerous times in the area driving recklessly.

The suspect fled the area with the victims' phone towards Stunden Lane.

The suspect is described as;

  • Male, black
  • 20-25 years old
  • Medium build
  • Wearing a lime green/black helmet and one piece racing suit

Vehicle Driven by Suspect;

  • Orange KTM dirt bike
