As the snow falls and the Christmas holidays approach, the North Central Predators AAA hockey families are taking full advantage of this well-deserved time of rest and rejuvenation with friends and family.
Beyond the regular holiday cheer and celebrations, the U11, U12 and U13 teams have another reason to get excited — the Winter Classic series is coming to Port McNicoll on Jan. 2, 2023.
All three teams will play, beginning with the U11s at 12 p.m. versus the Central Ontario Wolves, followed by the U13s at 1:30 p.m. versus the Grey-Bruce Highlanders, and the U12s at 3 p.m. versus the Grey-Bruce Highlanders.
Need another reason to come out for a fun afternoon at the rink? The official true Canadian Winter Classic BeaverTails food truck will be on site, serving up poutine, hot dogs, hot chocolate/coffee, and of course their signature BeaverTails.
Dress up warm and come out to enjoy the afternoon and support your local hockey talent at the outdoor rink, Jan. 2, 2023, 12 to 4:30 p.m., at the Tay Community Rink, 560 Calvert St., Port McNicoll.
