LAS VEGAS — Vegas Golden Knights centre William Karlsson will be in the lineup tonight with his team facing elimination in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup final.
The 25-year-old Swede took part in today's morning skate after sitting out yesterday's optional practice.
"I feel good. Ready to go," Karlsson told reporters. "Maintenance day (yesterday). Rest up ... body and soul."
The Washington Capitals lead the best-of-seven series 3-1 thanks to three straight victories, and can wrap up their first Cup in franchise history at T-Mobile Arena.
Karlsson scored 43 goals and added 35 assists in the regular season for the expansion Knights.
He has seven goals and eight assists in 19 playoff games this spring, but the Vegas top line of Karlsson, Reilly Smith and Jonanthan Marchessault has scored just three times at even strength in the final.
If the Knights, who have never lost four in a row, can avoid elimination at home, Game 6 would be Sunday back in Washington.
