TORONTO — Vancouver Giants forward Cameron Schmidt and Brampton Steelheads goaltender Jack Ivankovic highlight the Canadian Hockey League's roster for next month's CHL USA Prospects Challenge.

The CHL announced its roster Tuesday.

Schmidt entered Tuesday leading the Western Hockey League with 12 goals and was tied for first in points with 19. Ivankovic had a 4-0-0 record with an Ontario Hockey League-leading 1.71 goals-against average and .936 save percentage over five appearances with Brampton.

Other players named to the CHL roster include Brampton winger Porter Martone, who entered Tuesday with 10 goals and 10 assists in nine games, and Justin Carbonneau, who had seven goals and nine assists in 11 games with the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League.

The 2024 CHL USA Prospects Challenge, which makes its debut this season, will see the top CHL prospects face off against the United States under-18 team.

Game 1 is Nov. 26 in London, Ont., with Game 2 the following night in Oshawa, Ont.

The series is the successor to the CHL Canada—Russia Series, which was cancelled in 2022 in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
