It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Kristen Laura Allen announce her peaceful passing on July 21, 2024

Beloved daughter of Sue Ripa-Allen (Ron). Loving sister of Ashley Allen (Mitch). Loving Aunt to Wilder and Elowen. Cherished granddaughter to Lou Ripa (Anne), Laura Ripa (Michael) and Ruth Maclean. Loving Neice to Sherry Ripa (Richard), John Ripa (Heather), Janice Gillis (Larry). She will also be dearly missed by her many cousins and friends.

Kristen was predeceased by her loving father Sean Taylor Allen, grandparents Doug and Fran Allen and aunt Kelli Crocker.

Kristen was born in Richmond Hill, Ontario. She was compassionate and had a heart of gold. She cared greatly about others well-being, especially her family and friends. Kristen made friends easily everywhere she went.

She had a fun-loving personality and was a kid at heart. She was her happiest when spending time with her young nephew Wilder and baby niece Elowen. She was a wonderful aunt and was referred to as Aunty Kiki by Wilder. She had hoped to have children of her own someday.

Kristen had a big, beautiful smile and a great sense of humour. She had a contagious, silly laugh and hearing her laugh made others laugh too. Right from an early age she was adventurous, fearless and fun-loving. She loved Canada’s Wonderland, roller coasters, bungy jumping, downhill skiing and played soccer for many years.

Kristen enjoyed board games, pop culture, music, movies, and tv series of all genres. She was artistic, loved flowers, all types of food and cooking. She cared about animals, especially her pugs Lexi and Finnegan.

She loved to travel and was fortunate to have been on several trips including an Alaskan cruise, Caribbean cruise and a cruise of the Greek Islands & Turkey. She also visited Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Florida, The Poconos, Honduras and went on a ski trip to Whistler, and several other places.

Kristen was always there when others were in need. She had a big heart and compassionate soul. Others tended to confide in her with their troubles and she always did her best to help.

She participated in many MS Walks in honour of her late father Sean and also gathered friends one year to make her own team called The Honeybees. They participated in the walk together and raised a large donation for the MS Society charity. Kristen also volunteered her time helping to build a school in Honduras with her grandpa Doug Allen through the Schools for the Children of the World organization.

Our hearts will forever feel the loss and emptiness of her absence. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Rest in peace Kristen.

There will be a Celebration of Life held in honour of Kristen on Sunday Oct 20th, 2024
