BARZ, Gail (née Potter)

Died valiantly, in her 76th year, after a myriad of health issues. She is survived by her beloved sister, Anne Potter, and her precious daughter Beth Barz (Rachelle), her grandchildren William and Hannah. Her caring nature was readily apparent to all whom she knew and even those whom she had recently met were drawn to her empathetic nature. She demonstrated perseverance, courage, resoluteness, and faithfulness throughout her life, and she will be terribly missed.

A memorial service will be held at Kingscourt Free Methodist Church (257 Kingscourt Avenue, Kingston, Ontario, K7K4P9) on Sunday, December 17th at 2pm. The family is requesting that everyone in attendance please wear a mask.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made in Gail’s memory to University Hospitals Kingston Foundation, as she received the most excellent care in her final days at Kingston General Hospital or to Kingscourt Free Methodist Church.
