Lynn Bell gained her angel wings on July 9th, 2024 at her home in Barrie, Ontario. Lynn spent 75 wonderful years spreading joy to any and all around her. A comfort to many and a joy to all, most of her time was spent taking care of her family, her friends and her community. Simply put, Lynn was a beautiful soul.
Lynn’s life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here.
Not a day went by where Lynn didn’t talk about how much her children, grandchildren and family meant to her. Her home was often filled with family, friends, warmth, food and laughter. Lynn’s family was arguably her most important achievement in life. Anyone that had the privilege of knowing Lynn, knows that she was a loving and wonderful woman who always put her loved ones first. Lynn will forever be remembered by her beautiful smile, gentle eyes, caring heart, loving embrace and unconditional love.
Lynn was predeceased by her parents Andrew and Kay Leboldous and her sister Audrey Macfie. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Carl Bell, her two children, Neil Bell and Chad (Jennifer) Bell, her grandchildren Colton, Travis, Ashlynn and Daphne, her brother Ron (Sandy) Leboldous, her brother in law Frank Macfie, her many nieces and nephews and wonderful friends. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
A burial ceremony will be held at Dunchurch-Fairholme Cemetery in Dunchurch, Ontario on July 20, 2024 at 11:00 am, all are welcome. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to their favorite charity, SickKids Foundation in Lynn’s name.
