BOERMAN, Johanna (Joan)

Peacefully at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie on Sunday, July 31st, 2016. Joan Boerman (nee Drenth) of Barrie in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Egbert Boerman. Dear mother of Hank (Anna Gasdia) & Fred (Mary Anne) all of Barrie and predeceased by his daughter Ria Ritchie. Loving grandmother  of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Truida of Holland. A funeral service will be held at the JENNETT FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTRE, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie on Friday, August 5th at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment of cremated remains at Midhurst Union Cemetery following the service. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Simcoe.
