September 16, 1935 - December 13, 2024
Surrounded by her children, Margaret Bowman (nee Church) peacefully joined her husband Edward (2019) in heaven on December 13, 2024 after a brief illness. Dearest mother of Anna (Bruce Gogolin), Peter (Deena Paterson) and Carol (Stephen Sloan). Proud grandmother of Riley and Kyra Bowman, and Dexter, Kirby, and Isaac Sloan.
Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Estelle and her sister Marilyn. She is survived by her brother Gordon.
Margaret, raised in Teeswater Ontario, trained in nursing at the Queensway Hospital in Toronto. With her young family, she and Edward eventually moved to Barrie where she continued her career in nursing that led to her compassionate work in long term care and hospice.
This was a life well lived and loved, a life that will be deeply missed.
