Robert George Caspar passed away peacefully on Thursday August 29, 2024 at Toronto General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. After battling pulmonary fibrosis and undergoing a double lung transplant and triple bypass surgery in December of 2023 he was diagnosed and succumbed to cancer in August. He will live on through the memories of his loving wife of 42 years Beverlee (nee Cronin) and his children Michael (Michelle), Rebecca (Rick), Shawn (Jolene), Kristyn (Justin), and Shannon (Daniel), and will be missed by his grandchildren Dylan, Michael, Cory, Dawson, Audrey, and Kesler. He will be forever cherished by his siblings David (Monique), Linda (Kim), and Steven (Diane), and missed as a father by his "adopted son" Batu (Bursa). A place will always be kept in the hearts of nieces Jodie (Eamonn), Emily (Conor), Caitlin (Aaron), and his other nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Bob lived a happy life filled with kid's hockey and soccer games, fishing and camping. On Sundays he could be found watching football, European soccer and/or Nascar and Fridays were reserved for poker with his buddies. He loved motorcycles and music and over the past few years even took up playing the guitar. An eclectic man, he had a few different careers throughout his life but he took special pride in his role as a loss prevention manager for Loblaws and Mac's Convenience, where he received the Solicitor General Award for his work. He also had an incredible talent for sales and in the last eight years found joy in selling both residential and commercial real estate as a team with his wife.

Bob loved a good joke and will be remembered by many for his accents and expressions that really kept the listener enthralled. He will be missed by all who knew him. Special thank you to the amazing doctors and nurses at UHN, especially Dr. Aversa, nurse Vicki and nurse Robin.
