It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Len (Leonard Paul) Catleugh on Monday, January 27th, 2025 at the age of 77.  The passing of Len leaves a profound void in the hearts of his family and friends.  We are truly heartbroken.

Len will be lovingly remembered by his life partner and wife Marg Warren.

He was a loving dad to Jennifer Catleugh Ferge (Chad), step-dad to Melinda Warren (Graham), Dana Warren (Phil), Heidi Nisker (Pat), and Sari Fox (Aaron).   Len will be forever remembered as such a fun Grandpa by Hunter and Madison and a special Uncle by his many nieces and nephews.  His little furry friend Sofie will miss him everyday.

He will be dearly missed by his siblings: George Catleugh (Pat), Keith Catleugh, Louise Geller (Jules), Steven Catleugh and Nancy Catleugh, and by his mother-in-law Ruth McInnis, and brother-in-law Doug McInnis.

Len cherished time with his friends - many of them he had known almost his whole life. He enjoyed a 43-year esteemed career with Texas Instruments where many of his colleagues became friends. They were truly his “TI family”.

Len was predeceased by his parents: George and Lillian Catleugh.

Len lived life to the fullest, with a deep passion for the things that brought him joy. He loved his large family, many cars, extensive travelling, and Chardonnay wine, but nothing compared to the peace he felt at the lake. Len was always happy in his garage, where he enjoyed tinkering with cars and taking on various projects. His hands-on nature and love for fixing things were a true reflection of him. He spent a lot of his spare time at The Hatter with his Dad and family. Above all, Len will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, wisdom, and quiet sense of humor, all of which made him a beloved presence to those who knew him. He was a loving husband, dedicated father and grandpa, and loyal friend.

A visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home (445 St. Vincent St., Barrie) on Saturday, February 1st at 12pm with a funeral service to follow at 1 pm. A reception will be held following the service with light food and refreshments in the funeral home reception lounge.

Len loved the lake. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lake Simcoe Conservation Foundation.

Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family through adamsfuneralhome.ca
