CHARBONNEAU, Gertrude

The family announces with great sorrow her passing on Saturday August 3rd, 2024, at age 75 years. Beloved wife of 57 years of Guy Charbonneau. Beloved daughter of Mariette Turner (nee Vincent) and Dorius Turner, (both predeceased).

She fought a brave battle against pancreatic cancer, and she passed away peacefully in hospice care. She of course had a sense of humour right up to the end. During her final days, she was surrounded by love and care, and she left this world knowing she was loved deeply by all of us. While we grieve her loss, let us also take comfort in the fact that she is now at peace, free from pain and suffering.

Loving mother of Kim (Troy Vidito) of Sudbury, Vincent Charbonneau (Joanne) of Grimsby, Eric Charbonneau ( Martin Albert) of Warkworth. Cherished memere of Brendan Vidito of Sudbury, Sarah Landry (Mike) of Val Caron. Great Grandmother of Jade and Ella Landry. Loving Step grandmother To Lynn Dodgson (Ross), Jennifer Miller (Kevin), Michelle Mostacci. Great grandchildren Gavin, Molly, Audrey, Laura and Ellie. Loving Sister of Richard Turner (Flo predeceased) of Sudbury. Guy Turner (Karen) predeceased of Sault Ste Marie. Dear Sister in Law to Ray Charbonneau (Betty) of Sudbury, Geatane Charbonneau of Val Therese, Al Charbonneau (Sue) of Val Caron. Predeceased by Gisele Charette (Maurice), Jean Marie Charbonneau, Jeanine Ross (Leonard), Liette Beirith (Adolf), Lucie Charbonneau of Val Therese, Andree Charbonneau of Val Therese. Remembered and loved by many many nieces and nephews and cousins. There will not be a funeral or any kind of ceremony as this was her wishes.
