DAVIS, Henry Esten

DAVIS, Henry Esten passed away at the Royal Victoria Hospital pm Sunday, November 27, 2022, at the age of 97.  Beloved husband of the late Betty Davis.  Lovingly remembered by son Donald and granddaughter Elizabeth, sister Mary Davis Woodridge, brother John Davis, nephew Neil Davis, nieces Susan and Nicole Spear. Henry grew up on the family farm in Utopia. Once he graduated from Ontario Agricultural College (OAC) he went on to become the agricultural representative for the Simcoe Grey Bruce region. Henry then took over the family farm, Davis Farms and Development. He promoted agricultural development throughout the province by serving on numerous committees in cooperation with OAC. Henry was active in the community and provided leadership and support as a member of the Christ Church – St. Jude’s in Ivy. We are grateful to the staff of Serenity Retirement Residences for their exceptional care. Private family arrangements will be held by Basic Funerals – Jennett Memorial Centre, Barrie ON.
