DIXON, Murray

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Murray on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie, Ontario.

In his 84th year, Murray was the beloved husband of the late Zelda for 55 years. Loving father of Brent (Maria) and Heather (Robert). Dear papa of Sophia, Ava, Jorja, David and Alexis. Dear brother of Carol (late Gary) Anderson, Ross (Kathy) Dixon, Bill (Sharon) Dixon and Lynn (Norm) Theberge. He is also fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Susan Roberts and his many nieces and nephews.

His favourite place was the cottage, spending time with his family and friends that he cherished and loved so deeply. He will always be remembered for his strength, determination and resilience. Words cannot express how much we will miss him.

We would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre – Respiratory Unit. Also, a very heartfelt thank you to all the staff at the Mill Creek Care Centre in Barrie, Ontario. Thank you very much for the exceptional care and compassion.
