Peacefully passed on November 1, 2024, at the age of 75. He was the beloved husband of Patricia “Pat” Dwyer (nee Ogilvie) for 44 cherished years. Graham is survived by his brother Richard (Dick) Dwyer of North Bay, and his nephews Gary Dwyer of Ottawa and Brian Dwyer of North Bay. Also survived by his brother-in-law Walter Ogilive (Joan), sister-in-law Isabel Marks (husband Gary predeceased) and sister-in-law Brenda Greenlaw (husband Larry predeceased). Lifelong friends Jack Perry, Bruce and Kathyrn Woodman, Marion and Victor Burns, and Deb Harper.
Graham was known for his fun-loving spirit, a ready sense of humor, and a knack for pranks that brought laughter to those around him. He enjoyed listening to music. And as a true music enthusiast, he and his wife took up piano lessons at the age of 40, embracing the challenge together and challenge it was. An animal lover at heart, Graham adored his dogs, especially his golden retrievers—Riley, Gracie, and Gus. He missed them dearly, and we hope they are joyfully reunited, bringing him laughter, peace and comfort.
In accordance with Graham’s wishes, a private cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to share their memories and condolences online at www.peacefultransition.ca.
