GOSNEY, David Ian William

Passed away suddenly at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie on Saturday, August 27th, 2016. David Gosney in his 70th year was the beloved husband of Laureen Smith and her children Cheryl Stephenson (Ryan) and Shelley Pierce (Tim). Dear grandpa of Joel, Madeline, Taylor and Liam. Brother of John Gosney, Pat Elliot (Earl) and Lynn Reid (Doug). David will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at the Westside Evangelical Lutheran Church (510 Ferndale Drive North, Barrie) on Saturday, September 10th, 2016 from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service at 2:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Westside Evangelical Lutheran Church, Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
