Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie, surrounded by his family, at the age of 90. Predeceased by his loving wife Marjorie Hickling (nee Longhurst) and sister Jean Caldwell. Ross was a loving father to Brad (Sandra) and Jan (Shane Porter). Loving partner of Barbara Davidson. Proud and loving grandfather of Jessica Mawson (Mark), Nicholas Hickling, Kyle Russell, Jacob Russell and Lesleigh Russell. Great grandfather to Harlome and Morgan Russell.
Ross founded Prodomax Industrial Automation in the 1970's and was dedicated to the community ofBarrie. Serving on many boards and organizations including the YMCA, Rotary Club, Scouts Canada and recent recipient of the Henry Bernick Cane for Entrepreneurship at Georgian College.
Cremation has taken place. Celebration of life will occur at a future date. Memorial donations may be made to the RVH Foundation or a charity of your choice.
