The world lost a wonderful person on December 13, 2021, when Bill Hutton took his final breath. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife Linda, of 53 years, his son Paul (Terri), and daughter Laura-Lynn (Neil). In addition to his son and daughter, Bill regarded his 6 grandchildren – Liam, Lilly, Josie, Willa, Paige and Owen as his most meaningful legacy. He stayed in touch with them almost daily by phone. The love and lessons he imparted will continue through them.
Bill is also survived by his brother Don and is predeceased by his sister Judy (Danny) and parents Frank and Lillian.
Bill touched many hearts and is fondly remembered by extended family members including Uncle Herb & Aunt Ruth Forfar, Glen & Wendie Shevel, and his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A special thanks to the staff and volunteers at Hospice Simcoe and to Dr. Fejes for their compassionate and caring support of Bill through this most difficult time. Also, a salute to Bill’s homecare team who provided him with excellent care.
Respecting his wishes, cremation has taken place and we will honour Bill’s memory privately. A memorial page has been set up where a tribute video can be viewed, and fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared. Please visit: https://www.kudoboard.com/boards/GykVWi7r/billhutton
If you so wish, donations in his memory may be made to Hospice Simcoe or the Canadian Liver Foundation.
As his life comes to a close, while very sad, our family is very honoured to have been part of it. He will be forever in our hearts.
Arrangements entrusted to Adams Funeral Home, Barrie. Messages of
