In loving memory of Douglas Gaye Irwin

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Gaye, at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Jan. 5, 2025 at the age of 80.

Gaye is survived by his loving wife Pam (nee Price).

He will be missed dearly by his loving daughter Christa, brother Murray (Mondy), and stepchildren George (Wendy), Krista (John), and Rick (Catherine).

Father of Tanis, and grandfather of Bryanne.

He will be fondly remembered as "Gramps" by his grandchildren Anthony, Donavin, Kole, Teal, Jase, Kolin, Deven, Keira, and Tayah.

Gaye leaves behind extended family, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will also cherish his memory.

Gaye will be remembered as a hard-working man. A perfectionist with a work ethic second to none. He also enjoyed time on the lake fishing and in his younger years you could either find him at the rink coaching hockey or out wrenching on cars getting ready for the next race.

His humor, generosity, and good deeds leave a lasting legacy and many warm memories to hold dear.

Gaye was pre-deceased by his parents James "Jim" and Ruth (nee Horton), sister Margaret "Peggy" (Bill) and brother John "Jack" (Mary).

Per Gaye's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service held.

Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
