Passed away peacefully at the Mariposa House Hospice, Severn on Wednesday August 21st, 2024, in her 80th year. Donna was born in Orillia, predeceased by her parents Howard and Janet Montgomery. Beloved wife of the late Larry Johnston. Loving mother of Darryl Johnston (Leanne), and Kimberley Latour (Robert). Cherished grandmother of Aimee (Kelly), Molly (Garrett), Bailey, and Andrew; great grandmother of Jensen-predeceased, Hudson, Rilynn, Bennett, and Hayden. Dear sister of Ron-predeceased (Melba), Gordon (Barb), Dorothy Holenski, Ray (Donna), Delreda (Peter), Gary-predeceased (Phyllis), Gail Boyd-predeceased (Charles), Shirley Kitchen (Rod), John (Linda-predeceased), Bonnie, Carl-predeceased (Carol), and Barry-predeceased. Dear sister-in-law of Marie-predeceased (Peter), Marlene (Norm-predeceased), Judy (Steve) predeceased, John (Marilyn-predeceased), Bob (Debbie-predeceased), Steven (Terrie), and Paul-predeceased. Donna will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Donna’s life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Wednesday August 28th, 2024, from 12noon until 2:00 p.m. A private family interment will be held at St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia
