It is with profound sadness that we announce Beverley Ann Jones, age 86, peacefully passed away on January 4, 2025. Born on May 8, 1938 at Royal Victoria Hospital. She was the cherished daughter of Agnes and Lawrence.

She was predeceased by her sons: Robert and Glenn; sister: Barbara; brother: Douglas; granddaughter: Pamela and parents: Agnes and Lawrence.

She will be dearly missed and loved by her sons: Kevin (Sonja), Timothy, Brent (Sandy), Tracy (Sharon) and Shawn; daughters: Tammy (Dave) and Lisa (Albert); grand children: Mitchell, Mandhi, Tanya, Ryan, Kelly, Kayla, Spencer, Martin, Alysha, Tyler, Kyle, and Brandon; great-grandchildren: Xexilia, Zekiah, Drayven, Camryn, Lochlan, Wesley, Jake, Gabby, Asher, Zack, Izzy, Peyton, Everett, Addis, Ali, Sofia, Abigail and Elijah.

She was a proud and loving mother to all her children, and a doting grandmother to grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Known for her kindness, quick wit and sense of humour, she touched the hearts of everyone she met. Beverly Ann Jones had a passion for arts & crafts and she spent countless hours making home-made crocheted various items to give to friends and family and sell at craft bizarres. Her home was always warm and welcoming, a place where family and friends visited often.

She was an active volunteer at Royal Victoria Hospital for over 20 years, where she dedicated her time to helping others and making a difference in her community.

Beverley leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and strength. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 @ The Knights of Columbus ( 93 Berczy St. Barrie) 12pm-2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Diabetes Association, an organization close to Beverley’s heart.

Rest in peace, Beverley. Your love and light will live on in our hearts forever.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at IOOF Senior’s Home Inc. for giving mom exceptional care throughout her residency for the past 2 1/2 years.
