Passed away unexpectedly at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on August 20th, 2024 at the age of 71. Predeceased by her parents John and Joyce Keays. Survived by Les Budai - her beloved partner and best friend of over 24 years. Much loved stepmother to Kailani Budai and Dashiel Budai. Dear sister to Jerome Keays, Elaine Pugh, Charlene Trpin, and Steve Keays. Aunt to Jasmine, Robbie, Ashley, William, Brook, Justin, and Kyle. She will be sadly missed by her aunt Jean Berlanget and uncle Paul Berlanget, her cousin Mike Berlanget, wife Janet, their children Sophia and Olivia, cousin Tracy Robertson, and many long-time friends in the Barrie area.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Monday, September 9th, 2024 from 10 am until the time we celebrate Nancy’s life in the Chapel at 11 am. Guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the Lounge before the family proceeds to St. Mary’s cemetery for the interment.
