It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bonnie Lee Keeting on August 19, 2024 at the age of 67 at Hospice Huronia in Penetanguishene surrounded by love. Her fight against cancer was a testament to her desire to always live life to the fullest.
She will be forever missed by her children Devin Keeting, Darren Keeting, and Dawn Chepurnyj (Jamie). She also leaves behind her loving partner, Jeff Laplaunte, her parents Laura Sutherland and Bob Goodfellow and her beloved dog Kiki.
Predeceased by her father Douglas Sutherland and her siblings Brian, Sandra and Mark Sutherland.
Bonnie's strength will leave a lasting impression on us all. She was a true inspiration, facing her battle with unwavering courage and grace.
Bonnie will be deeply missed by numerous relatives from the Sutherland and Keeting families, as well as many other friends, neighbours and coworkers.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the team at hospice for the wonderful and loving care they provided to Bonnie.
Loved ones are invited to celebrate Bonnie’s life on Sunday, August 25, 2024 in the Valley View Tent at Horseshoe Resort (1101 Horseshoe Valley Road, Barrie, ON) from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
