Passed away peacefully at Woods Park Care Centre in Barrie on Sunday, July 21st 2024 in his 81st year.
Beloved husband of Colette. Loving father of Maryanne Fullerton (Bob), Dianne McGuire (John), Lorri-Anne Pigeon (Wayne), Ricky McGuire and Tammy-Lynn Dunn (Darwin). Cherished grandfather of Trinda (Matthew), Nicholas, Danielle (Zackary), Scott, Malorey, Kelly, Riley, Molly, Erika, Keyauna and great-grandfather of Gabriel. Dearly missed by his brothers Hugh, Tom, Bill, Robert and Dan. Predeceased by his parents Bert and Vera McGuire, and siblings John, Mary Rose, Ann and Peter. Gerard will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his many relatives and friends.
At Gerard’s and the family’s request, cremation has taken place.
Prayers of the Rosary followed by a Mass of a Christian Burial will take place on Monday, July 29th 2024 at 10:45am at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 91 Church Street, Schomberg, ON.
Interment immediately following at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, 255 Church Street, Schomberg, ON
Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion-Br#329 Tottenham 25 Richmond Street East, Tottenham, ON
