In loving memory of Kevin McLean. Kevin passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday August 19, 2024 in his 57th year. Never complaining, Kevin maintained a brave and positive attitude and a quick wit throughout his battle with cancer. He was a gentle soul who touched the lives of many with his humour and kindness.

Beloved husband and rekindled soulmate of Francine McLean. Loving father of Braydon and Blake McLean. Cherished Poppa of Isla. Cherished son of Donna and Donald McLean. Grandson to the late Donald and Dorothy George and Jack and Marguerite McLean. Dear brother to Angela (Ray) McCuaig. Son-in-law to the late Giles and Annette Ouellette. Brother-in-law to Nicole and Graeme Harbottle, Michelle and Eric Macdonald. He will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews, Mackenzie, Jack, Owen McCuaig, Jordan and Brittany Harbottle, Chelyn and Makaela Brown. His aunts and uncles, the late Curtis and Jackie George, the late Susanne George, Elizabeth and Phil Bradford, Bill and late Isobel McLean, the late Marilyn McLean, Stuart and Joline McLean. Cousin to Lisa (Mike) Jenna and Nicole Crone, Bridget (Rob), Jack and Luke Sneddon, Cathy (Scott) Sears, Christopher Laughlin (predeceased), Owen Laughlin, Andrew (Cassie) Bradford, Deborah (Kevin), Thomas and Zara Brooks, Bob McLean, Billy McLean, Mark (Dirce), Tammy, Jeff, Krissy McFadden, Shane (Heidi), Angus and Charles McLean, Shawna McLean, Val, Mark (Natalie), Adam and Jessica Hargreaves. He will also be deeply missed by extended Police family and friends.

A Celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at the Mapleview Community Church (300 Mapleview Dr. W. Barrie) on Saturday September 7th, 2024. Visitation will be at 1:00pm, the service will start at 2:00pm followed by light refreshments and a sharing of memories at 3:00pm. Following the service, a gathering will take place at 5:00pm at the Sheba Shrine (142 John St., Barrie).

If desired, donations to the local SPCA or Toronto Sick Kids Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
