Lieve McPhee
April 9, 1941 - January 16, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Lieve McPhee. The Lord took her home and she will finally be reunited with her great loves. Lieve was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had a heart of gold and loved deeply. Lieve was a devout Catholic and her faith never wavered. Lieve loved gardening, cooking, travelling, attending church mass and spending time with family and friends. Our hearts are broken but we know she is finally at peace after battling dementia for the last several years.
She will be sadly missed by her son Kevin Truen (Lorrie) and her grandchildren Alexandra (Justin), Zachary, Johnny, Teresa (Mitch) and great granddaughter Talia. Lieve was predeceased by her husband Joseph Truen, husband James McPhee, and her son John Truen.
Family and friends can join us in a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 10:00am at St. Mary’s Church, 65 Amelia Street, Barrie, Ontario. Reception to follow the service.
