Robert "Bob", "Bobby" Noble, 72, of Barrie, Ontario, passed away on November 5, 2024, after a long and hard battle.

Bob was born on May 30, 1952, in Toronto, Ontario  the late Robert and Kathleen "Kay" Noble. Bob was the eldest of two; his sister, Gayle, passed away in April 2010.

As a child, Bob and his family would spend their summers at the cottage in Haliburton, where many memories were made. Later on, Bob would share the same cottage with his family and make new memories.

Bob met his wife, Monica (who passed away in September 2022), and they had two children, Christine Noble (Ryan) and Robert Noble Jr.

Bob dedicated his life to ensuring his family was happy and taken care of.

Bob worked hard and long hours for the TTC for 22 year before retiring , a job in which he took great pride in. Even though he worked long hours day in and day out, he would always make sure he was home in time to take his kids to their sporting events, swimming lessons  or anything that their busy family was up to at the time, or taking them on trips. Going on trips was his way of just getting away and relaxing, over the years he and his family have been on trips to Florida, Dominican, and Cuba.

Once retired he would spend most of his days keeping busy with his two beautiful Grandchildren, Emmalee and Brooklynn ( Christine's children). His Grandchildren were his life, he would do anything for them, and they were the reason for him to keep fighting as long as he did.

Grandpa was the girls' world. He was always there for them and would do anything to make sure they always had smiles on their faces. He was there from the beginning, helping to teach them to walk and talk. Over the summer of 2020, he taught the girls to swim in his pool, where the three of them lived during the summer months.

He will be  tremendously missed by Emmalee and Brooklynn, but his love and memories will forever live on in their hearts.

The life Bob gave to his family is something that will never be forgotten. His children are so grateful for everything he did for them. Bob will be dearly missed by so many: his children, daughter Christine Noble (Ryan), son Robert Noble Jr., and grandchildren Emmalee and Brooklynn. Uncle Dennis, nephews and nieces, cousins, and friends,

May you rest in peace, Dad. Know that we love you and are so proud to call you Dad and even more so to call you Grandpa.

Love you.

Services will be held at Basic Funeral Homes at 152 Bradford, Street, Barrie Ontario on November 14 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
