1938-2025
Bruce Page died peacefully in Barrie, Ontario at the age of 86. Then son of Dr. Lawrence and Ethel Page, he leaves behind his sister Mary Thornton of Orillia, and brother David Page (Barbara) of Waterdown.
Bruce was born in Hamilton Ontario in 1938. He graduated from Queen’s University in Kingston and followed that up with teachers’ college. He taught geography at Barrie Central Collegiate for most of his career and was well liked by his students.
Bruce was a world traveller who toured just about all of the continents. When he wasn’t travelling, he spent his summers at his favourite place, the cottage on the Moon River in Bala, Ontario.
In retirement, Bruce loved to golf at the Muskoka Lakes Golf and Country Club. He also volunteered as a board member and President of the Muskoka Ratepayers Association.
Bruce’s nieces and nephew want to thank the care givers and staff of Amica Little Lake for taking such good care of him.
