It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Pamenter, a beloved father and cherished grandfather, who passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on July 16, 1942, Robert led a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to his family. Predeceased by his wife Norma (2021) and parents Stewart and Irene. Loving father of Beverly Pelaras (Peter) and Barbara Sproul (Dennis). Cherished grandfather to Robert, Erik and Andrew. Dear brother of John Pamenter.
A proud member of the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 46, Robert dedicated many years of his life to the craft he loved, leaving behind a legacy of skill and integrity. His steadfast work ethic was matched only by his loving and supportive nature, making him a treasured figure in the lives of those who knew him. Robert was not just a plumber; he was a problem solver, a reliable friend, and a steadfast supporter of his family’s dreams and endeavors. Robert’s proudest accomplishments were undeniably his family, who brought him immense joy and fulfillment. He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, finding in them the light and love that warmed his heart. His home was a sanctuary filled with laughter, where every family gathering became an opportunity to create lasting memories. His nurturing spirit and ability to lend an ear made him not just a parent and grandparent, but a true confidant and guide.
Family and friends will be received at Legacy Funeral Home, 55 Cedar Pointe Drive, Barrie (parking and entrance on Hwy 400 side of building) on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 o’clock a.m. Interment will take place at Innisvale Cemetery immediately following the service.
