Passed away peacefully at RVH in Barrie on Sunday, Sept. 1 at the age of 73.
Beloved wife to Wayne for 55 years. Dear mother to Amy and Kevin (Melissa).
Cherished Nana to Trenton and Nicholas. She will be dearly missed by her brother Gary and sister Michele, her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Carole was predeceased by her parents Ken and Gwendoline French, brother Stephen and sister Judy.
Carole was born and raised mostly in Toronto. Once married she became a homemaker and raised her family in Mississauga. She enjoyed reading, playing scrabble and a good game of euchre. She loved to take the scenic drives mostly to Owen Sound. Carole enjoyed watching her son play baseball. She had the most pride being a Nana and cheering her grandsons on in hockey, baseball or lacrosse. She cherished her family and enjoyed every moment spent with them.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home (445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation or the Kidney Foundation.
