Norah Louise Phillips of Owen Sound and Barrie, on June 23, 2016, after having been diagnosed with brain cancer 7.5 months ago. Cherished youngest daughter of the late Dr. Jack and Mary Phillips. Dearly loved sister of Angela, Paul (Hélène), and Celeste (Dale). Adored aunt of Meg, Jack, Will, Chloé and Mélodie. Norah was an English teacher and teacher-librarian for 30+ years. Norah lived by these three mottos, which she wished to share: I am still learning, sto pro veritate (I stand for truth), and dum vivimus vivamus (While we live, let us live). Our family expresses its deep gratitude to the RVH Regional Cancer Centre medical team and the nurses and doctors on the Cancer and Palliative Unit for their excellent and compassionate care. A celebration of Norah’s life will take place in the coming weeks – details pending. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Adams Funeral Home, Barrie. http://www.adamsfuneralhome.ca
