It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Giuseppa “Pina” Ravanese (née De Maria) on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at the age of 74. She is now reunited in heaven with her loving husband, Vittorio Ravanese (1999).
Cherished by her dear children, Bruno (Grace), Patrizia, Vittorio Junior (Violetta), Natasha, and Riccardo (Megan). She was also a proud Nonna to Bianca, Alexia Ravanese, Simona, Anthony, Sabrina Stallone, Vittorio, Cassandra Ravanese, Scarlett, Gia, and Marchesa Ravanese. She will be held dear in the hearts of family, relatives, many cherished friends, and best friend James Carter.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Sunday, October 27th, 2024 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 65 Amelia St., Barrie on Monday, October 28th, 2024 at 10 am. Mausoleum entombment to immediately follow at the Innisvale Cemetery, 7551 5th Sideroad., Innisfil. A Livestream of the Funeral Mass will be made available on the St. Mary's Church Facebook page.
