The family is saddened to announce the passing of their beloved Riccardo Ravanese, at the age of 43 years at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto following an illness. Beloved husband of Megan (née Bonney). Devoted father of Scarlett, Gia and Marchesa. Dear brother of Bruno (Grace), Patrizia, Vittorio Junior (Violetta) and Natasha. Predeceased by his parents Vittorio (1999) and Giuseppa (2024). Riccardo will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Wednesday, November 20th, 2024 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 65 Amelia St., Barrie on Thursday, November 21st, 2024 at 10 am. Reception will follow the Mass inside the Church Hall. Interment at the Innisvale Cemetery, 7551 5th Sideroad., Innisfil will immediately follow at approximately 1 pm. A livestream of the Funeral Mass will be made available on the St. Mary’s Church Facebook page.
