Comfortably at her home, and surrounded by her family, Freda passed away on Sunday, February 4th, 2024, at the age of 88 years old.
Freda was knitting until her last days, and always said she came into this world kicking and was going to go out the same way. That she did. Freda was positive and strong loving individual and always made a point to keep contact with all her family and loved ones. This is an extremely deep loss of an amazing woman. We take comfort in knowing she will forever be watching over all of us.
Beloved wife of the late Howard. Loving mother of Dennine Scott (Paul) and the late Darin. Cherished grandmother of Keghan and Tianna. Dear great-grandmother of Aly, Skylar, Jayce, Elias and Ryssa. Fondly remembered by her sister Rose Kell (the late Alan). Predeceased by her sister Shirley and brother Keith. Freda will be sadly missed and forever remembered by Aunt Eunice Smith and her family John, Janet, Terry, Wendy, Julie and many more family and friends.
At Freda’s and the family’s request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Freda’s life will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Arthritis Society of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
