Passed away peacefully on July 21, 2024, at the age of 89 with her daughters by her side. Beloved wife of the late B. Leigh Reevie. Loving mother to Elaine (Ken), and Linda. Dear grandmother to Alicia (Ben), Matthew, Nathan, Craig, and Jacob; and great-grandmother to Parker, Abbie, Jaxon, and Hailey. She will also be missed by her pup Bella. Sister of the late Donald, Douglas, and Pauline.
Helen dedicated 30 years of her life to the Children’s Aid Society, making a significant impact through her work. She led an active life, enjoying golf, curling, camping, and gardening. Helen was a passionate reader and showcased her creativity through knitting and quilting. She also gave back to her community by volunteering at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) for 10 years. Above all, she treasured her family and always placed them at the center of her life.
In accordance with Helen’s wishes, a private cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday September 7th, 2024, from 1-4 p.m. For the location details, please contact the family. A private inurnment will take place at St. Thomas Church Cemetery, Shanty Bay.
