After braving a long illness, Barbara Margaret Sheridan (nee Ball) passed away peacefully at home in Barrie on January 29th, 2024 at the age of 89. Barbara is predeceased by her husband James Sheridan in 2017, as well as by her parents Thomas and Margaret Ball, brothers Donovan Ball and David Ball, and sister Arlene Arnell. She will be sadly missed by her surviving siblings; Retha Long, Robert Ball (Georgia), Ruth Bailey (Carl), Daniel Ball, and Sharon Tranter (John).
Loving mother of Charles Sheridan (Lynn), Glen Sheridan (Denise), Rodney Sheridan, and James Sheridan. Cherished grandmother of Charlene, Chadwick, Clinton, Megan, J. Morgan, and Mariah, great grandmother of 20 children and great great grandmother of 3.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024 from 1:30 PM, until the time we celebrate Barbara’s life in the Chapel at 3:30 PM. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception gathering in the lounge.
