Jane passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, January 29, 2018 at the age of 84. Predeceased by her beloved husband Paul. Survived by her four children: Jenny (Bob) McIntosh, Pat Walsh, Chris (Kim) Walsh and Sandy Walsh (Glenn Currie), and nine grandchildren: Robin, Cassandra, Jackie, Ryan, Jayme, Shannon, Emma, Ben and Paul.
Jane graduated from the University of Toronto , Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy; and she also received an MFA from York University. Jane was a great supporter of the Arts, and worked tirelessly with the MacLaren Art Centre in Barrie. She was also a founding member of the Gryphon (Georgian) Theatre. She loved to ski, sail, golf and play tennis with her many friends and family. Entertaining all at her home in Shanty Bay will be a fond memory for all who knew her. A drop in Gathering will be held to celebrate Janes life at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME 445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 3-6 p.m. Memorial donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
