Joseph “Joe” of Angus, ON, passed away peacefully at his home, on Friday, June 23rd, 2023, in his 66th year.
Beloved husband of Valerie Wicks, Loving father of Bob (Alicia) and Tom. Cherished grandfather of Liam and Olivia. Sadly missed by his brothers Jim, John and Jeffery. Dear brother-in-law of Marshall, Lewis, Barry and Wade. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Betty Walsh, nephew Michael Walsh and brother-in-law Fred Wicks.
Joe’s feline companions were dear to him and brought him great joy. Joe had the biggest heart for the smallest of creatures. Joe was strong willed at times, but he always had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humour.
When Joe’s time came, he armed himself with dignity and strength and his heart was full of love for all of the important people in his life.
Joe will always be remembered and sadly missed by his many sister-in-laws, nephews, nieces relatives and friends.
At Joe’s request, cremation has taken place. In Joe’s typical fashion, there will not be a planned service, and certainly no pomp and circumstance.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
